New member from Maine USA!

My name is Robin and I live in Downeast ME. Are there any other Mainers here?
I joined so I can learn more about pet and wild frogs.

I have loved wild frogs all my life. Growing up I didnt play with dolls, I played with frogs and bugs and other fun crawlies! I have raised wild silkmoths and am currently raising praying mantids. I am a member of Mantidforum and this forum was mentioned there.

I am a handspinner, meaning I make yarn on a spinning wheel. I spin exotic fiber like angora rabbit, baby as lpaca and qiviut plus many others.

I also pick wild blackberries and have seen many amazing tiny frogs. When out mushroom hunting I see small frogs jump away from whee I am stepping.

I have a small garden in front offering my apartment and one morning I found a beautiful grey tree frog on the wall just below my window! I named her Beauty. It must be a female as I never heard any singing there.

I hope to buy a setup next month then a grey tree frog online. I look forward to learing all I need to know!

Welcome to the forum Silkmoth! I am from Maine originally, although I live in Ohio now. There aren't too many Mainers here.

LOL! Downeast isn't a town. It's a term that gets used in a variety of ways. But yeah, it does have an awesome ring to it.
