I'm not sure why, but all the pictures I posted on my Introduction thread and my New to Pacman Frog's thread seem to have disappeared. I'm not sure if it's just me who can not see them or everyone. In any case why are they gone, and what am I doing wrong?

Hi Kaleen ! Appears the link to the pics is now broken. How did you originally posted the pics in forum? I've seen the same happen when people post pics stored in a web site and then move, rename, or remove pics from it; thus affecting the link to forum.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
I originally posted the pics on each thread in the forum by copy and pasting from the pics on Facebook.. That would probably explain the disappearance then?!
If you copy and pasted them, then maybe FB has some routine that prevents that. I upload pics to a Photobucket account and just paste the image code directly into the post. The bad thing is Photobucket has changed from a simple photo depository into a social photo app with adds and all kind of unnecessary distractions.

I wouldn't suggest posting pictures that way. If Facebook futzes up or changes the URL of the pictures or does whatever strange thing they want to do then they'll be gone from your post. You can copy the image url from Facebook, then hit the 'Insert Image icon' when making a post. Choose 'from url' and make sure 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' is ticked (it should be by default). Or if you still have the pics on your computer, you can hit the 'Insert Image icon' and choose 'From Computer'. Either way this puts a copy of the image under FrogForums care so it knows where to find them.
Photobucket, or Flickr, or Imageshack, or Pictureshack or Imagebucket or Photoflickimagebucketshack or ... all seem better setup for linking to photos than Facebook is.
This forum also allows you to make your own albums and upload your own photos to just in case you needed another way to share photos. You can then easily attach them to posts under the 'manage attachments' button (below where you type the post).
It's important that we have at least 13 ways of doing the same thing to reduce confusion.
