This is Mr.Froggle
He is my very first frog and he was bred in the garden center i work in. He's small 'cause he's only a few weeks old.
He is supposed to be a whites/dumpy tree frog but every picture i have seen on google of those frogs, they were all one colour, just fully green or brown or teal.
But Mr.Froggle has markings and so do his parents.
So i was wondering if anyone could identify him.
By the looks of the frog i think he may be a Hyla arborea or European green tree frog. i would
think that because of the "coon mask" behind his eyes. Defenately not a Dumpy tree frog, they
will get much bigger and would consume anything they can overpower. More pics may be helpful
in identifying him.![]()

Agree with Ryan and will go with Hyla arborea too! A tree frog set-up with 60-70% humidity and normal room temperature should do. If EGTF it should become greener as it grows. They are lot smaller than White's, with males reaching around 1.5 in. and females slightly bigger at 2.0 in. Think they are great looking frogs, good luck with it!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
I know it's pretty hard to tell from a baby, i'll take some pictures of his parents tomorrow and post them to confirm. :3
Thanks!
Thank you :3
Here are three of his parents...i couldn't find the fourth one (dunnoh who bred with who)
What are they?
