white lips calling

hi all can anyone tell me if female white lips call as well as the males, ive had a pressumed pair now for a few weeks and recently have been hearing one of them calling at night,now i thought it was the smaller of the 2 which is 2 inch and sold to me as male but ive just heard it again and it was definately the bigger one which is about 3 inch and sold to me as female it wasn't the dog like bark which ive seen males doing on youtube but more of a double croak whites treefrog call,ive kept species of frogs before where both sexes call but im new to white lips and your help would be much appreciated,cheers
