    Default Cane/Marine Toads

Hi everyone, I apologize, I haven't posted in a long time, I have been battling an illness, I'm thinking about getting two Marine Toads. I have read about them as I do before any Frog/Toad I have acquired. Will both be happy together in a 90 long enclosure? Anything special I need to know about them?

They would be happy together so long as they are close to the same size. You do need a large enclosure for them. If it is 90 inches long that would work great. they need about as much room as american bullfrogs. Be extra careful when handling around other pets. as you may already know cane toads can be very toxic. They do have a large appitite but unlike large bodied frogs species cane toads prefer smaller prey. My cane toads eat more then my pixie frog. but it wouldnt even attempt anything as large as a pixie would. A very diverse diet is important for this Toad.

The Tank is not 90 inches Long, its a 90 Gallon, (48 Inches Long). I do realize that they get big and eat a lot.

A 90G should be OK; specially if 2 males. Agree with DA that frogs should be around same size to avoid one being eaten. BTW, 90G tanks (same base dimension as 75G, just higher) are all the same unless custom built .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I'm pretty sure it's not illegal, there is an old thread on here where someone in FL was sending out free Cubans. I was looking around on a website a while back(don't remember where it was sorry) and it was saying that in FL Cubans and cane toads were to be euthanized on site or exported to a state that has temps drop below freezing for more than a month out of the year or something along those lines.
