This is Mr.Froggle
He is my very first frog and he was bred in the garden center i work in. He's small 'cause he's only a few weeks old.
He is supposed to be a whites/dumpy tree frog but every picture i have seen on google of those frogs, they were all one colour, just fully green or brown or teal.
But Mr.Froggle has markings and so do his parents.
So i was wondering if anyone could identify him as a dumpy frog.
Well he doesn't look like a White's Tree frog. Whites are mostly from Australia and Indonesia. If this is a frog that was not introduced to the garden center then most likely it is a native breed which I can probably identify after that information is given.
We don't have tree frogs in England (i don't think O.o)
These are captive bred and sold as exotic pets.
Well honestly it has the body structure and face mostly of a White's tree frog but the color and markings appear more like a gray tree frog.
Can you sell them over seas? Id love to have one.....![]()
Makrau: if it is a gray tree frog, it would be much easier to get one here. They're native to America.
Except the body shape and face are not like a gray tree frog at all. Maybe its a hybrid of some kind. Im not sure, never seen anything like this before. And there are gray tree frogs all over the place here in Kentucky, USA.
With him being a baby it's kinda hard to tell for sure, i'll take some pictures of his parents tomorrow and post them, it might help.
Here is the answer you are looking for: http://www.frogforum.net/general-dis...e-what-he.html . In the future, please avoid starting more than one thread with the same question, thank you!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
