So couple days ago I'm at a local pet shop watching the darts being fed. Suddenly this tiny orange D. pumilio charges me. Then in couple hops he is at the door of it's enclosure and threatens me with it's mouth open; then jumps back into substrate to catch flies. What appeared to be his larger mate was nearby feasting on FFs so maybe he felt the need to protect the female from me
.
My friend stated had not seen it doing that before. Is it common for D. pumilio males to be territorial against humans?
Loved the little guy and wish to take it home (the possible pair) but think they are not dart beginner's frogs and the price was not easy either ($150 ea.). Me and my taste has never matched my wallet
