Hi, over the winter he/she went on a hunger strike for several months and barely ate. I had her in a 20 gallon which I now realized was too big. The other conditions such as temps and humidity were good altho I was not dechlorinating the water. She didnt eat hardly anything all winter. At some point in the spring I happened to need that 20 gallon for someone else so I moved her to a much smaller critter keeper (maybe 8 inches by 12inches). She instantly began to eat and eat well and has eaten well since. I think her hunger strike over the winter contributed to her smallish size now. I think she has grown at least half an inch, maybe an inch over the summer. OK, just went and actually measured her. She is 3.5 inches snout vent.

Thank you,
Carole
