Talking My wallet said no, but my brain said yes! (Pyxicephalus Adspersus baby)

    Hello people,

So.... I couldn't resist it. After a couple of minutes of making up my mind I ended up getting another pyxie! I will keep updating pictures here as my baby grows, she/he is TINY; smaller than a quarter.

I'd like for you guys to confirm if it's a true giant, I tried to get some good shots so bear with me....this guy dislikes pics and I did not want to stress the baby too much either. On the first night I gave him a waxworm, a hornworm and a night crawler chunk, for the rest of the week I will just feed night crawlers until its first poop before adding variety. I want to make sure he poops first before anything else.

I noticed the three typical green stripes, blue coloring behind legs so I think I'm correct. He is a little darker than my first pyxie but that could probably be because this one is smaller/younger than when I got my first pyxie and adspersus tadpoles are a very dark navy blue so I guess that's why it's a lot darker? I was wondering because I'm not sure if DWARVES look the same when they are babies because I have never seen a baby edulis.

    Thanks and enjoy!

I agree with everyone else, it's a giant. Congrats on your new little baby! You should post pics of your other one as well, i'm looking forward to seeing what sex it is.

    Thanks guys!

Yes, that's a little tail! Good observation! It seems this one barely finished absorbing his tail not too long ago which explains why that shows and his darker colors for a baby. I've never had a baby this tiny and fragile. I thought I had gotten a dart frog instead heheheh

On the other side, do baby edulis look the same? Just wondering for my own knowledge and reference.
