Hey guys,

My pyxie is about 2 1/2 months old and a little over 3" ( eyesight measure) but in this last cleaning I decided to add around another 2 inches of substrate so he can fully burrow( around 3-4 inches of substrate depth now). Now he went under on Sunday noon and it's already Tuesday and he's still there and has not eaten at all since his last feeding on Saturday night. Temperatures and humidity are spot on all the time....is this normal behavior for such a young frog? I have heard before that some young frogs might try to aesthivate if the habitat is rough but that's not the case here. So I was just wondering what you all more experienced froggers might think about this; it's just that he's so young and gone under for almost two days makes me wonder what's going on since he's never done that.

Also, is vinegar a good way to disinfect "furniture" inside the frogs tank? I use wipe out 1 for the tank itself but I was wondering if vinegar along with hot water would do it for the water bowl/plants etc?

Thanks!
