What frog is best for me?

I am looking at reptiles or amphibians to suit my needs. I would prefer a hands off pet that is fun to watch, How colorful does not matter to me. I would prefer arboreal and relatively small. I do not want anything that needs UVB or special heating or cooling ( a heat bulb or undertank heater is fine) I am willing to feed small crickets and pretty much whatever else our local pet store offers. I do have some amphibian experience, Tiger Salamander, Axolotl and Cyanurus.

I am also open to reptiles that suit these requirements.

Well I knew I wanted a tree frog. Its just a matter of what kind most would recommend.

Whites tree frogs are a great starter. They are quite heavily built for tree frogs which I think is cool but it depends on what you like. They eat lots too but aren't that active. Definitely read this article.

I did before I posted again As far as I am seeing it just goes over species not individual frogs.

That article is just for picking a general type correct? Thats all I see.

I do not want a huge eater and I would like something more active than a whites ... They are SUPER cute though ... A blue eyed whites is something I would consider.

I was thinking along the lines of a grey, Doesn't eat a ton, fairly active... I read a few care sheets but I can't remember everything.

I'm really new to frogs, but if i wasn't looking for something that would be ok over 6"+ of water I'd probably go with a grey tree frog. I have a green tree frog that was caught in a parking lot momentarily, and he's a lot of fun too.

YES!!! Firebellies are awesome, but they're not tree frogs. Don't know if you would want something that swims a lot though.

I think a gray tree frog 100% fits your needs they have very cute personalities and are cool looking they don't require much care

If you want one for colors: Red eyed tree frog
If you want one that is honestly awesome (colors and look): mossy tree frog
If you want one that is hardy: whites tree frog
If you want one that doesnt do anyting: Tomato frog or pacman frog

I am thinking Grey or whites ... The whites on looks but i think the grey suits me more.
