    Default scales

I just wanted to share what I thought was a good deal. I went to Bed Bath And Beyond today and I found a Taylor Scale that does grams for $15. I thought it was pretty cheap considering everyone I found off line was about $20-30. Just wanted to share this tid bit. I think it will also help if I need meds from the vet I can give him a weight.

Here is the link of what I just got.

The Biggest Loser® Digital Kitchen Scale - BedBathandBeyond.com

    Hope this helps someone!

If anyone's in Australia Woolworths has ones for under $10 that measure in grams and ml as well as the imperial system. Hahah, there's always cheaper. Oh, this one has the potential to weigh multiple frogs at once because you can weigh something and hit a button to make the weight zero. You could keep doing that and get a total of how much they all weigh when you take them off. Though I'd be a bit worried if someone were sizing up the total weight of frogs...

I wish we still had 'Woolworths' here in the US.

" Though I'd be a bit worried if someone were sizing up the total weight of frogs..." Funny ! Like an adding machine . Never know!

It is however, great to have a scale with the " first aid supplies "

Nice find. Periodically weighing your frog can also be a good idea so you have a baseline to compare with in the event your frog gets ill, and it can also help you measure growth.

I use one of these Lee Valley Tools - Important Announcement (Canadian store but will do mail order internationally). Outside of websites catering to drug dealers, there aren't so many options in portable scales but this one is a good balance of price, accuracy, and size.

Well, if I saw someone adding up my frogs weight in my kitchen and there was a pot of water nearby... >.>

Is it good to know how much they weigh approx when healthy in case they get sick? EDIT: ^ Answered. And catering to drugs, lol.

The weightwatchers bit made me laugh. Is there a program for frogs? They claim to be "tailored to your lifestyle" . EDIT: I am now curious if their bf% will show up on my scales.....

I wish we didn't have Woolworths here as I am employed by a division of them :/.... Anyway, everything (other than scales apparently) is so much cheaper in the US.

I've been looking for one and it looked like a good deal. Just didn't want to pay $30 for something I will barely use =]
