Welcome aboard Lori, we're glad to have you here.
Hi. My name is Lori. I currently have a Quaker Parrot named Daisy. She requires a lot of attention. I have had, in the past, Doves, Cockateils, Love Birds, iguanas, Anoles, fish, Salamanders, Hermit crabs, Crayfish, some sort of african water frogs, Ferrets, cats, a rabbit, and dogs. After all. My favorite was my Male Iguana and my Quakers. I am planning to get either some White's Tree Frogs or Red Eyed Tree Frogs. Most of the animals I had as a child and I admit I was a terrible pet owner, I didn't learn enough about the animals before I got them...but now as an adult I try to learn as much as possible. I have been preparing for two months to get my first frogs. I will probably get them in a few days from now.

Welcome to the forum.
Welcome to the forum Lori,
What sort of set ups have you got for your frogs? I would love to see photo's.
Welcome aboard.
Yeah, until they are ripping out your jugular, then it's not so cute. For some reason small parrots don't like me much. I have been attacked several times simply because I was in the same room.

You know the I have had only been bitten a few times by a bird by it was usually because of something stupid I did, or in the case of Quaker parrots..a little cage aggression in perfectly tame birds. I prefer birds and lizards/frogs over any other animal. I don't care for snakes though. I had a pet snake for a year that I forget to mention. He bit me when he smelled the other animals on me (ferret) and pooed on me one day when I was leaving to go to work. I also don't care for hamsters or mice. But I love rats...so go figure?
Hamsters are evil and mice are disgusting, little creatures that urinate on everything they come across.
