do white's tree frogs burrow?

my frog whent missing yesterday and today out of no were while removing a big log he has, he appears on the wall. i see him go under his tree and he has not come out since and i know i put thecover back on after i found him so i'm worried i'll find a dead frog. he always comes out by 10 PM and sits in his water or on the dish. he was fed monday and ate. humidity above 50% and temp around 70% without the heat pad plugged in, with it plugged in the temp is 80%. is this a new normal behavior?

Yes some of them do hide especially if it is a newly acquired animal. sometimes during certain parts of the year(especially when it starts to cool down) they will display this type of behavior.

It's getting colder out but his tank never below 70so that seems strange to me. I've had him for a month now. Never did this before. Now if he did burrow would I see a small hill in the tank meaning he buried himself?
