Default ID Blue Eyed Tree Frog

A local pet shop received some frogs and among them, noticed this small (0.75 in. SVL) tree frog with blue eyes. They were labeled as Peacock Tree Frog in shipping documents; but neither do the shop reptile/amphib employees or myself think they are.

Looked in net; but only found a blue eyed tree frog photo stating it was from Madagascar but with no identification.

Anyone here knows what species is it? All frogs in enclosure had the blue eyes; but some where light tan like one in photo, others were brown with some spotting, and still others where very dark brown. Thank you !

Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

No idea. Can't see it well enough. Didn't really turn up much on my search either.

Hi Lynn ! Although have never seen blue eyed whites in person, local shops do sell pretty small White's and these guys look a bit different. Might stop by store again on Friday and see if any has settled down and looks more like White's or can take better pics.

I agree with Lynn. I think it's a blue eyed whites tree frog. There were some at the Frogs Day show this past weekend. Beautiful frogs, indeed .
