I have 2 northern leopard frogs that are native to my home state of Utah. Winter is approaching and I was wondering if I needed to put a heating pad under their tank to keep them warm, or will they be fine at the lower temperatures of winter because they are native? I am keeping them in a tank on my windowsill so they get the natural light of the sun, just like in nature. Thanks for your help!

Hello and welcome to FF ! They will be fine without additional heat, if you can handle room temperature they will too. Here is a care sheet for them: Frog Forum - Leopard Frog Care - Rana pipiens (Schreber, 1782) and R. sphenocephala (1886) .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
