Look like Pothos plants . Safety depends if they've been obtained from a store that uses fertilizers, bug sprays, etc. or not. Also, Pacmans can trample plants or uproot them when digging, so a Pacman tank isn't safe for them either.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

It came from the pet store so I presume it's safe. It is just in plain compost by the look of things. So it is safe for frogs just the frogs arnt safe for it?

    Hi Jack ,
    Carlos is right.
It is a pothos. It looks as though this cutting has been re-potted in coco fiber

They are forgiving plants, in that they grow quickly, and root easily.

I don't think the pothos would be 'killed' by you pac of it accidentally digs by it or even digs it up.
But you don't want your pac to eat the leaves, accidentally.
I don't have pacs. Maybe post a separate question in the pac area of FF or do a search for safe pac plants.

This plant is very commonly used in enclosures, especially tree frogs. However, there is no real risk of a tree frog biting the leaf. Tree frogs enjoy sleeping on top or on the underside of the leaves.

Philodendron are a very large group of plants in the Araceae family- most of which are toxic if the leaves are ingested ( mostly we worry about cats and dogs).

I believe people do use them in their pac enclosures. But there is that chance you could miss a leaf that fell off or or accidental ingestion!

So, I will agree with Carlos...might be best to leave it out ? I'm a scaredy-cat.

I usually tweezer feed him so he probably won't miss if I'm there. I could also trim any leaves off that look as if they are dying so none will fall off.

I think I'll just get a fake plant. After reading more about these they seem to be harmful to a lot of things.
