Default Bump on tree frogs eye

A few days ago a tiny, clear bump appeared on my little Grey Treefrog's left eye. It would be very hard to photograph because it's so small, but it's simply a tiny clear bump/indentation. He's acting normal and eating normal, but this is still worrying. Anyone have any idea what this could be? It's not under the skin, it's directly on his eye toward the bottom.

Do you have sharp items (plastic plants, etc.) in enclosure? Frog could have mis-jumped and injured eye. Recommend find a local herp/amphib vet and take frog to it, good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

There's no sharp things in his enclosure. It's paper towels, a water dish, some soft plants, and a soft bendable branch thing.

And he's less than an inch long so taking him to a vet isn't really feasible.

He's still acting and eating normally, I put a tiny dab of Neosporin on the bump. Hopefully it improves.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard that Neosporin shouldn't be used on or around the eye area?

Oh, yikes. It was a very small amount though.

Hopefully it's alright. Obviously don't continue applying it though (:

What I would do is put the frog into a hospital set-up to minimise the chance of infection if its an open wound or scratch.

Sterilise the tank and anything you put into it, and replace the paper towelling substrate daily. You can go as far as boiling the soaking/misting water to remove bacteria, letting it cool down, then adding your water treatment.

I use local reverse osmosis purified spring water, so bacteria isn't a problem. I guess the misting bottle could use a cleaning inside though.
