Find abnormal that incandescent bulbs are running that short. I've had bulbs running continually for over six months (and longer) before having to replace. Is dome handled a lot or water splashes on it?

An option is to replace bulb with a ceramic heating element and use a controller (manual or automatic) to adjust it's output to maintain needed temp. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Yes the dome gets wet, I don't take it off when I mist the tank..don't know why but I thought it was water proof or something..duh might have solved my problem Thx
