I have fed pinkies to my White's only once and that was a long time ago. They were live pinkies so I can't say whether they will take thawed or not. I know tiger salamanders will and I have a strong feeling my White's will too, but I have no intention of doing so any time soon. Like Johnny said, your better off sticking to insect prey with this species.

Watched a White's gulp down a live pinkie the other day, fed by a knowledgeable amphib keeper. The frog had been in a tank with two larger males and was not getting it's share of food and was very skinny. He will treat this frog for parasites and probably continue to feed a pinkie occasionally but the daily diet is large crickets. I have a very hard time feeding live mice but will do it if necessary. Only one of my redfoot torts will eat a pinkie. I have no plans on feeding pinkies to frogs (yet).
