Hey all.
Recently I got a large tank with four frogs (I bought the tank with the frogs). However, the size difference between them has worried me more and more - two are half the size of the biggest at least. I'm quite short for cash but i saw a 20x20x30 cm (7.9x7.9x11.8 inch the latter is the height) terrarium for $90 AUD and I was wondering if that'd be big enough for two approx 4 cm (1.5 inch) frogs. I really don't want my two little guys to be on the menu and I earn barely any money - not to mention I have spent a fair bit on upgrading the terrarium. Stressed me = stressed frogs. One of the guys is really active though so I don't know if it'd be enough for him. The second one I've named after Jeff from the Wiggles (he doesn't even care when another frog sits on his face).... In that regard might it be big enough? I just want them to catch up to the big frogs before they're together.
Alternatively I have an old aquarium to the top of which I could somehow attach a wire screen. Any experience with that?
Any suggestions?
Thanks so much. I know I worry to much about these guys but they really are helping me through some hard stuff at the moment. I couldn't bare to see anything happen to them. Which means I have to not be worried about them being eating one another and stressing them out in turn.
What type of frogs are they?
Centralians. They're pretty much the same as White's tree frogs.
It will be ok for them.
