    Default Other water root plants

All I have found that really works is pothos as a water root plant. Floating plants are easy but I want to have something else that will grow over the water but not outgrow a 20 tall as fast as pothos will.

I plan to have water lettuce and anubias and water lettuce. Maybe duck weed.

I know spider plant can grow in water but they look terrible to me grown that way. I have 2 in my window in water and they are always brown and never grow well. Might be lack of nutrients but really not the kind of plant I want anyway.

    Any suggestions?
