Thank you Carlos, remember how we were thinking on who that is male or female a few month ago?

Well she never called and was 4,5" at 1y old, now 6 months later she is a bit over 6" and I can swear I've heard very low male call from where her tank is a few days ago, that was once ever since she was a baby..... I mean how that is possible?.... And she looks very much like male, is she a male who is not vocal at all ???
I'm starting to think I know nothing about pixies😝

Duncan called the first and second day with me (sounds just like a bull or cow mooing) and then never called again. To me yours looks like a powerful male !

Yep exactly like a cow, typical male call, low low moooo.... I was like what the ..... But nobody makes that kind of noise in our household, absolutely not from where I've heard it, unless my salamander decided to pretend it is a cow lol to be honest I've never heard of a male who doesn't call on regular basis. But to hear for the first time when the guy is 1,5y old.... He is very very confusing one

At least his name is Bubba can go both ways I guess.

Lija this is the first time I have seen your Pyxi and I can assure you that it is most definitely a male. Carlos hit the nail on the head. There are owners of large males that have never heard them call. It doesn't travel far and is a very deep tone. Could easily be missed or slept through.

Nice frog Lija. I think it's a male too and Carlos is right it has ripped forearms, wouldn't mess with him.
