Hi ff, I have two whites tree frog that I got about a month ago. They are both 1 1/2 inches long. One of them has only one toe on each of his feet which I didn't notice until after I brought him home. I wanted to know if he will regenerate his toes( I know he's a male because he started singing last night ). I have heard of whites tree frogs regrowibg their toe pads. If he can't grow them back it's fine because he can climb just as well as any other whites tree frog I've seen. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated
Hum, can you post pic's of frog showing feet? So it's missing all but one toe in each of it's four feet? That's kind of strange and does not appear accident or predator related. Only thing can think of; is that either it's genetic in origin or some sick person did it. If genetic it's there to stay and could be passed along if used for breeding. Even if not; would be surprised if frog re-grows missing toes. Glad you are caring for him well and he is not handicapped by it
.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
