Oh no. By "got her" I mean he successfully mated with her. The pic shows her vent slightly opened. When the male is successful he'll pull the bent back like the one in the pic. It is a way to ensure the male mated before he ran away.

That said, I have heard of males killing females. I've never had it happen, but I guess it is possible.
