I think I'll get an exo terra 18x18x24 naturalistic terrerium bet should I use the substrate for me baby red eye or wet paper towels. Should I use I heater any other suggestions?
Read this first and then ask about any particulars: http://Red-Eyed Leaf Frog/Red Eyed T...nis callidryas . Think that is a good size enclosure for Red-Eyes. Substrate is your choice; think Heather(?) uses and swears by small towels she washes and keeps a sterile environment. Other's keep them in vivariums, etc.
No matter what you decide, please do quarantine them for at least 30 days in a hospital type set-up. Heat needs depend on ambient temperature in room; specially during Winter season. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Thanks but whats is the hosbital setup
Hospital set up is with white or unbleached, unpatterned paper towels as a substrate, moistened with dechlorinated water, and whatever plants you put in need to be clean/ sterile.
