Is Abby pregnant?

I have an adorable little dwarf african water frog from Petsmart that I got about 7 months ago, also two others. I think (not sure) they mated last night. They smaller one had his front legs wrapped around her back legs, and they stayed like that all day/night yesterday. She has gotten/had a BIG round belly the past two weeks or so. Just kinda over night. It is darker colored and just looks different than it used to. I will try to get a pic tomorrow. She is being a ham and won't hold still tonight. Thanks!!!!!! If she is pregnant, how do I care for her? Tomorrow I am going to put her in a mesh baby fish net (box breeder net) just in case...

Hello and welcome to FF! Your frog is not "pregnant" but maybe is carrying eggs. If conditions are favorable, she would deliver the eggs with male still in amplexus and he would fertilize them as they come out. The eggs and tads are tiny and a challenge to raise. If interested in trying, recommend search the net for more details. Also, if your tank is heavily planted, some lucky tads might make it to point you can see and remove if you leave with adults.
