Although I have been assured that my Pyxie's last fecal tested negative for harmful parasites, I know suspect a protozoan/bacterial problem. Vet wants I should bring Frog in (on Tuesday afternoon) for a personal exam so they can (legally) sell me some metronidozale. . .or whatever it is. I've been keeping her in the hospital tank still and disinfecting it daily.

Should I continue with this until I get the anti-bacterial med? She and I both hate the set-up. She's even starting to refuse meals no doubt from the stress I'm being forced to put her through, and showing signs of wanting to burrow despite not having anything to burrow into. Can't say I blame her. What should I do? I don't want to add any coir that I'll just throw away the next day. Too expensive.
