Hi,
Has anyone advice on making ExoTerra terrariums relatively fly escape proof?
There's the obvious modifications such as lining the top of the enclosure with self adhesive window draft excluder and use of glass/muslin etc. over screen mesh. But I am more interested in reducing the gaps between the opening front doors also between the doors and the fixed glass sides.
Also is it possible to 'cool' fruitflies in the refrigerator? Do they become less active but still mobile and attractive to darts?
Taking this further - is it possible to put a fly culture in the refrigerator for an extended period to limit development? And on a similar theme - what effect has cooling on cricket cultures?
CHEERS!
