    Default Dividing a tank

I have a baby leopard frog( Tad ) and a larger gray tree frog(Frog ) but only one 20 gal tank, i have it divided in half at the moment and it seems to be working well but i am looking for ideas because i am trying to expand the water area of the leopard frog but keep running into different issues. the tank is set now so i have 50/50 water and land for the tad and 30/70 with mostly plants, climbing stuff and land for frog. I also have what i think is a bullfrog tadpole (batman) and am trying to figure out a home for this guy when he finally changes any help is welcome.

Hi Lyndsay! Well, looks to me you will need to either get more tanks or re-home some frogs soon . The Leopard Frog will need anywhere between a 20L to 30G if male and up to 55G if female. Area is more important than height and a 1/3 dry to 2/3 wet enclosure is recommended.

The Bullfrog will need still bigger tanks, specially if female, with same kind of mixed set-up.

For the Grey; height over area is preferred and can find more info here: Frog Forum - Gray Tree Frog Care and Breeding .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

i agree with carlos, either add tanks or re-home some frogs. the frogs need room and a divided 20g is way too small for a gray tree frog and a leopard frog.

Thanks I am in the process of getting a new tank and just have to use this as a short term home, I am not sure on the male/female at this point though. I did figure out a way so tad has some more water area which has helped. Thanks.
