It would probably work. But you can also keep your cage 100% sealed.

Yes that will work for you but you have to be mindful of your Waterlevel at the top of the ultrasonic humidifier.

Too low of Water level might damage the humidifier or it will shut off automatically one of the two.
Too high of a Waterlevel and then humidifier may not work.

What is work very well for me is the zoo med repti-fogger in combination with the zoomed hygrotherm HT-10
I can set it to 80% and not worry about it.
all you have to make sure of is to put the fogger on a level surface and only use distilled water and you are golden.
If you have trouble keeping the humidity stable just cover the top of the tank with plastic wrap and if you have hot lights use glass. ( not plexi )

Im just trying to figure out a cheaper option. I taped aluminum foil to the top so its keeping a steady humidity for a longer period of time. So I could get away with only spraying twice a day now. So I probably may not even have to use any sort of humidifier lol. Before I taped the foil to the screen, i was spraying 5-6 times a day and it still wasnt even staying above 40%
