Default Help to ID our frog?

    Good morning...

My boys keep finding these little guys swimming in our pool and would like to know more about them. Bullfrog, maybe? They range from 2-4 inches in length and are very shiny green. Thanks for your help!

It may help to know which state you are in. It looks
like maybe a green frog Rana clamatans or a pig frog Rana Grylio

Thanks, sorry - We are in Massachusetts, just outside of Boston.

They also found another little guy...white stripes down his back. Trying to upload a photo now.

Amber is right, Pickerel frogs have uneven spots on their
back and Leopard frogs have more uneven spots, one of the two.

First is probably Rana clamitans (subspecies Northern Green Frog); the first Ryan mentioned. Second appears Rana palustris (Pickerel Frog) as Amber stated. Sometimes the spots are a bit rounder (like yours) and they can look a bit like the Leopard Frog. If yours show a yellow/orange flash pattern in the inside of rear legs; it's confirmed a Pickerel .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
