All is going well, very happy to be able to say all frogs are eating and pooping on a regular schedule. I'd like to thank everyone that gave me advice, I've learned alot since I joined the forum and plan to learn alot more. Note, my current staple is locusts and I plan to keep it as a main staple, I do feed nightcrawlers as regular treats once they turn into adults. I guess it will depend on my frog, if I notice my other frogs enjoy nightcrawlers more, they will recieve that as a staple, but Akzayakatle just plain eats with really long teeth.
I also offer dubias, crickets, redrunners and waxworms as treats, silk worms on rare occasions.
Xicohtencatl aka Xico
This one is GRUMPY! if I even go near it, puffs up, bites at me and squeaks, going to be fun to tong train this one. He also seems to have nice reddish tones on his back, or is that considerd brown?
Xtapolapocetl aka X-ta
This one is pretty docile, doesn't mind being picked up for a picture. I have to admit, theres something about the coloration that makes this one my favourite of all my frogs.Really hope it turns out to be a female.
Tonatiuh aka Ton
He's a little fighter, that's for sure. missing foot or not, he's hoovering my wallet down to the bone with his appetite. I've stopped giving him medium locusts because he was chomping down a box a day. Was forced to switch over to small large ones, his first nightcrawlers will be fed this weekend!
Akzayakatl aka Yaka
She's my first and my absolute favourite. Never fussy, was kept at too low temps in the beginning, still ate. I've currently changed her substrate from 5 to 10cm deep, she's nowhere to be seen, really hope she will come up by feeding time.![]()

Very nice Pacman collection, thanks for sharing!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Nice! Kinda like Bubba. Well Tonatiuh. He is a pirate frog.
Ton seems to be a lot like my Zuma: eats, eats, and eats some more.
Yeah, every night he sits there waiting for me, but tonight he decided to sleep in. I opend the curver at 10 and he was still burrowed in, so I figured I'd check him again at 11.
There he was, fresh from the waterbowl staring at my direction. It's still hard to believe he waits for me like that lol.
Don't you just love when they do that? I love when Tank sits at the front glass waiting.
Great frogs!

Nice collections and keep sharing them...![]()
Very nice!!
As for the rusty red color well that is sort of a combo of brown and red. It will normally change to brown after some time, but some do keep the rust color an never lose it.
These frogs can be very attentive to their keepers when it's feeding time and as hard as it is for some people to believe some of thses frogs like your attension even when food is not involved. I have a female named Pariah that will paw at the glass and follow me as I move around the room. If I open her tank she jumps up at me to take her out. Of course once she is out and in a bath its like handling a sugar rushed toddler. Lol!!
They each have their own personalities and they become more apparent as the frogs grow and mature.![]()
Agreed. All of my 12 frogs have different personalities.

It's so great to read about this, I'm allready noticing the differences between them, eventhough my 2 smallest ones are still babies. I'l put a bet on it that Xico will be a biter, he doesn't respond to tongs and emediately puffs up and squeaks at me while trying to bite. It's going to be a challenge when this one is an adult.
Ton is by far my easyest frog, I pick him up out of his burrow daily for his feeding, he quickly eats in less then 5 minutes and lounges for a few hours in the spot that I put him, poops on his substrate, takes a bath and goes back to bed.Throughout the night I'l hear him croak a few times, his male voice still hassn't set in though. Lately he has been pooping daily, I just think he eats so much, he needs the room in his stomache.
Decided to snap two more pics, this is Yaka in her temporary enclosure. It's a little oversized, but she seems to be doing well, however the moving stress has gotten to her. She has eaten two prey items tonight, refused yesterday instead of the usual 4-5. But she's eating, so I can't complain! Please note this isn't her final enclosure, this is a temporary curver.
It was stupid of me to attach the therm/humidity meter above the water dish, I noticed it while uploading the photos, and quickly changed it.

As long as they are eating. As a newer frog owner myself, I have moved Mojo too early on every one of his enclosures. Not by much though.
I moved her on sunday, I fed her saturday, but due fault of my own (forgetting to treat her soil), I had to redo the enclosure again, creating more stress. The plan was to move her to her final enclosure next week, but I think I'm going to postpone that a while, maybe the first of october.
