Unknown Frog Species

Hi guys.
I just went to my very first reptile expo. One man was selling lots of frogs, and I liked one in particular, which he called the "mystery frog". They didn't know what it was - apparently he asked around and researched. He was selling it for $20 and I wanted to get it but my mom was being a mom. I took some photos, they're bad quality - sorry. I researched for an hour or so and couldn't find anything.

Does anybody know what it might be, or what it looks similar to?

It was small a cute, very round. It's eyes were amazingly cute and it would fix its eyes on something, so that when you moved its body, its head was still positioned the way it was. Love that! It's skin was also shiny, pearly, and almost translucent.

Looks a little like a microhylid but beyond that I don't know.

It is a Hyperolius viridiflavus, common reed frog.

One thing about reed frogs that really captivates me are the large, black eyes. My first experience was with Heterixalus madagascarensis at the zoo. We had over 200 individuals in a large cage. When it was my turn to clean the cage, I could not believe it. It seemed that each one had a death wish and begin jumping crazily all over the cage and some even went down my uniform shirt. But it was their big,dark eyes that was the spookiest. Reed frog "poop" sticks to the sides of the cage like crazy glue .

Thank you! I did come across the hyperolius frogs when researching and they did look similar, I just couldn't find one with the odd speckled skin. I guess they're all different! Shows how much I know...
