If that silver has no pain killers or any other active ingredients it should be OK (this is what I've got on frog first aid kit: Elta.net). I have no knowledge on that vet product or how long it can be used for. Is frog eating on it's own or you are force feeding it?

Repta Boost can be dusted on food items or made into a paste. I've used it by dusting night crawlers for couple days before resuming CA/D3 and vitamin supplements and had good results. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
