whent to the pet store to get my frog his crickets and a new light bulb for his lamp. the guy helping me said i needed UNVA and UVB lighting. i bought a UVA lightbulb to replace the one that blew in a kit i got..that was suggested by another worker at the pet store so before i spend $50 on a UVB light fixure is it really neccasery? i read in my care she UVB lighting or a ceramic heate which i have.

! WTFs are nocturnal and like most frogs (even many diurnals) do not need UVA or UVB. Do remember to give it supplements CA/D3 2X and vitamins 1X weekly on different days with skip day in between. Other than heat bulb, can use a blue or day bulb for observation, or bulbs for plant's if have them. Good luck
