It's actually relatively difficult to breed them in captivity. Even if you got a male American Toad, they probably wouldn't breed unless you set up specific conditions. But if you're genuinely concerned, get another female American Toad.

Although frogs do not feel "lonely;" you can get a similar sized American Toad to share enclosure. For reasons already explained by Amber and DA; mixing your Toad with a FBT will end bad
