will a Fire bellied toad do OK with an american toad?

heyyyyyy wazzaaaap froggy fans, im thinking about getting a FBT!

you see, i have an amarican toad, but SHE is rather lonely. i read that AT are very social. so i had the idea of getting a FBT. i wanna get 1 and name him flaming sword. will they be able to live with eachother being two different species? and they wont mate, will they? cause i DONT​ want a thousand tadpoles!!!!!!!

Fire belly toads would be poisonus to the american toad

It's actually relatively difficult to breed them in captivity. Even if you got a male American Toad, they probably wouldn't breed unless you set up specific conditions. But if you're genuinely concerned, get another female American Toad.

Although frogs do not feel "lonely;" you can get a similar sized American Toad to share enclosure . For reasons already explained by Amber and DA; mixing your Toad with a FBT will end bad .

your may want 1,000 toads because i will take them off your hands. and i will pay.
