Do Dart frogs benefit from taller terrariums? I've seen 2 I like, one is 90w x 90h x 45d and a 90w x 45h x 45d. I'd have room for either but it would be a waste of the extra 50 quid if they don't need the extra hight. I'm planning on keeping either 3 or 5 (D. Auratus) depending on space requirement for each frog
Thanks
2.0 Border Collies - Jinky and Chance
3.0 Cats - Monty, Dodger and Crunchie

0.1 BCI Boa - Aasia
1.0 Western Hognose - Hagrid
0.1 Bearded Dragon - iiara
I have my 2 auratus in a 60x45x60 exo terra and that seems to be large enough.
I would use the 90w x 45h x 45d for Auratus. They would benefit from more floor space over height.
So my Auratus utilizes both, I find my girl up high just as much as down low. But the Auratus is classified as a terrestrial. Although height would be a nice addition I think that ground space would be more beneficial! Hope this helps.
Thanks for the replies. I think I'll go with the 45cm tall. I don't know how many gallons is the 90 x 45 x 45 but is that enough room for 5 or am I better sticking with 3?

It works out to be approx 50g. I'd put 5 in it, no problem.
Nice 1, thanks for the replies

I have my 4 in a 24" H. ( exo 24"H x 24W x 18 deep)
They seem quite comfortable.
They do use the space/ height.
I find them all over , including on a moss vine against the 'ceiling'.
The additional height gives you an opportunity to create other hides, breaks and living areas for them to use, especially if built into the background.
Enjoy !![]()

I too, have 5 in a 24 x 24 x 18, but given the option of an 18" wide or 24" wide, I'd go for the 24" wide.
