    Default Help IDing frogs?

I'm pretty sure these are Bull Frogs. I collected tadpoles from the feeder fish tanks at the local pet store when I was buying feeders for my other animals. These two grew and I built them an aquarium. The more I watch them though I'm starting to doubt they both are bullfrogs. If someone can give me their opinion it would be appreciated.

They aren't bullfrogs- the dorsolateral folds (ridges on the backs) rule this out. They look like Southern Leopard Frogs, Rana sphenocephala. The photo at the bottom of the care sheet is a Southern Leopard: Frog Forum - Leopard Frog Care - Rana pipiens (Schreber, 1782) and R. sphenocephala (1886)

Looks like a pair of leopard frogs to me also. I have two of my own.

I agree with brian. Those are southern leopard frogs, I see them all the time at a creek near my house here in NC.

How hard was it for you to raise your tadpoles, bigcat? I just got my two and I was hoping you could give me a few pointers if you don't mind? I posted something in the FROG threads yesterday but I have not gotten any feedback as of yet. If you have any tips for their care I would love to hear them. Thanks in advance!
