    Default is my frog sick?

one of my frogs, when i got him, he had this red dot on his back and he was slightly paler than the rest. hes my only male so i just said "must be what male frogs are like". but over a week he has gotten paler and the red dot has turned into a red stripe all along his back. and he didnt eat at all. just today i had to force-feed him using a guitar pick and a cricket. was that the right idea?

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh its clean wellwater they are what i think are cricket frogs all six of them are like an inch long and its a half n half tank it just has a regular lamp on it ten gallon tank. i clean them like when they start to smell and the water gets foggeyish. they eat once a day and only living bugs. i have no main food source they need a well balenced diet. its kept in my room a low traffic area. wild caught. i handle them only if needed, cause if i try to hold them, they jump outta my hands and i gotta go chase em around!!!!! substrate is gravel. they are at room temperature actually. 74 degrees. owned them for like two weeks.
