    Default Splendid Calcarifer

I just got my 18 Cruziohyla calcarifer in and was blown away by their beauty. These are some of the coolest frogs I have seen and I'm still trying to catch my breath. They're a new, cbb line from Costa Rica, and are all about 1-1/2" long. I'll take some more pics of the group when they settle in. Thanks for looking.

You're right, they are very beautiful!

Are you going to keep all 18?

Thanks! They're pretty cool to watch walk around their enclosures. I only spent a couple hours watching them last night.

Gerard, any update on your Cruziohyla calcarifer. How are they doing?

We had a terrible accident here, only 5 survived from the original group. We have another, unrelated group, coming in next month. They're all going to a friend of mine in Miami, along with the rest of the last group.

oh, that sounds horrible! That really s***s!!

Do you know the reason for the accident?

And thanks for the update, even these are not good news!

Human error, mostly on my part, coupled with other smaller events that ultimately led to their quick decline. It was a hard lesson to to learn, they were very high quality frogs, it's sad they aren't here.
