Please help!

sorry if i am posting this in the wrong section... ill learn someday..

i need some advice asap. i recently acquired a golden tree frog. havent had it for more than a day and it has since disappeared.... does anybody have any advice on the most likely places it would choose to hide??? i had a lid on the tank and it fit just right and had a heavy light on top of it and some how it still escaped any help at all would be appreciated!

If your frog escaped, its probably looking for moisture or a dark
place to hide, try putting small bowls of water out where you
think he may have gone
