Thought it was a pacific chorus but now I'm thinking the dorsal line and pointed nose make it something else
got from petsmart as a tadpole. small about 1.5-2 in doesn't move much.

I vote Leopard Frog.
Ok, one vote for leopard frog!
I thought it was a chorus frog originally because it was young and lacked features such as spots and dorsal markings, though thankfully its habitat has been decent to good at half land gravel with coco fiber and half gravel with water and a water dish. Its very small though eating a few crickets every day or every other day, very hungry, also have fed it compost worms, should I expect it to grow larger? its a month into froghood from tadpole and ~2in, should I feed it more so it reaches a mature size?

Here is a care article on Leopard Frogs: Frog Forum - Leopard Frog Care - Rana pipiens (Schreber, 1782) and R. sphenocephala (1886)
Froglets need food and good nourishment to grow properly and develop healthy internal organs. They should be fed daily to satiation. Also, should dust with CA/D3 2X and vitamins 1X weekly on different days with skip day in between.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
