My brothers gets a couple pinkies a month. I dont see the harm in it just dont give to many. They eat mice in the wild so I think its ok.

I wouldn't particularly recommend it. Bearded dragons have pretty poor digestive anatomy that easily allows for blockage; making them unusually impaction prone. Adults are also quite susceptible to Fatty Liver Disease over the long-term. Pinkies don't really offer any major nutritional benefit either, and are high in fat. If you feel you must feed them, do so very sparingly.

There are tons of options to promote variety in the diet for bearded dragons. Adults should be eating 75%+ plant matter as their diet composition, and there are endless possibilities in mixing up what is offered with each daily salad. We've been finding more and more that dietary needs of juvenile dragons is very different than that of adults; where juvies should be inhaling as much insect matter as they can handle while adults should be fed on a very lean, veggie-rich diet. A lady at my vet's clinic just reported that her (still very healthy) adult dragon is 16 years old and going strong, and her secret is a nearly vegetarian diet with rich variety.

A better treat alternative would be a captive raised Hornworms...hard to beat the excitement a bearded dragon gets seeing and taking down a full grown 3-4" larvae. Others options include Silkworms, feeder roaches, superworms, solider larvae, trevo/butter worms...

Thanks for the info and the link m8, I think I'll play it safe and not start giving her any pinkies

No it's not likely to get impaction and go ahead feed it a couple pinkies now and then just get the smallest ones
