Haven't shared this little guy with all of you yet. A little while back I scooped up some tads out of a spot that was drying up. There were 10 total, the first 9 came out of the water within a day or 2 of each other and we're released, this little straggler came out about a week later, so we named him after Ralph from the simpsons. Of course the only store around here that sold pin heads or fff's stopped carrying them recently. So I threw some egg laying substrate in with some large crix for a few days and pulled it after I saw it was full of eggs, today the eggs finally started hatching and he went nuts over the little crix ate around 20 of em

Prior to this I had been feeding him itty bitty isopods I was collection at the base of 2 trees in my yard (I don't like to feed wc insects but they got me through till the eggs hatched)

Little guy eats and poops like a fiend, will update as he grows

Set up a new enclosure for my little amphibious garbage disposal. Little bit bigger tub than he was in previously. Also a much nice set up than before. His prior home was just a piece of cork bark and a water dish. Hes proven himself to be an excellent hunter with a never ending appetite so I'm no longer worried about him finding his food. Hes also been taking food from the tongs When transferring him he chilled out long enough for me to get a good pic of him on my hand.

he has got to be my most inquisitive amphibian. He has been exploring this high and low. Enjoyed a nice long sit on his mopani bridge.

Thank you, his name is Ralph. He's going to be upgraded to a 10 gal in the near future where he'll have some pothos and leaf litter, probably no moss.
