    Default Is this normal Poop??

This is the second time I've found poop this big in Clyde's tank. It seems HUGE - it's as wide as he is! The first time I thought it was vomit. Is this normal-size poop for a PacMan? I've found what I thought was poop before, but it was way smaller. Now there's this. Was he just constipated? Please help!

I've had him since April and this is only the second time I've found poop this large. He eats very regularly though.

Welcome to FF and that poop is normal . Glad you got the shredded coco substrate .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Thanks for your help on that one, too! I really thought I had the right thing before because it said "coco" but I guess what I had was "husk" or something.

That is one beautiful poop . On a side note, the EcoEarth can use some moisture. The substrate should be moist but not overly saturated.

I will concur that is a normal bowel movement. The best way to hydrate eco-earth or Coco fiber is to place it in a bucket add water pick up a handful and squeeze out as much water as you can with your hand and then place the handful into the enclosure and repeat.

Should I do that even now? I did that when I first opened the brick. Now I spray/mist it like twice a day and I find it SO hard to keep this particular substrate moist. But can/should I take handfuls out at a time and soak them, then put it back in there and mix it around? Thanks for all your help!

Do you have a temp/hygrometer in the enclosure and are you keeping 80~F during the day and 75~F at night
    and 80% RH?

I have my Pepito in a exoterra small with 3/4 of the top covered and have no problems keeping temp and humidity stable.

I add 16oz of treated water to the substrate at one corner to provide a moisture gradient in the substrate so the
frog can choose an area it likes.
and I mist any areas that get overly dry once in the AM.
    hope this helps.

Yes, thank you! I think he may be a bit cold in there. The temps are about 76-77 in the day and 73-74 at night. I will get him warmer ASAP!

Yup definitely needs to get warmer. Remember if you are going to use lights as a heat source, get an red incandescent bulb no higher than 50 watts

Or you can use a ceramic heat emitter with a dimmer switch to control the temperature.
