I have a baby grey tree frog, and had an idea for an adult enclosure. I know they can change color depending on the background, so I was thinking about setting a terrarium with different colored branches, like gray branches and white birch and some sort of green as well. What do you guys think of this idea? Would the frog change color to each of the branches is was resting on? Also interested to see if anyone has done this before.
Great idea! I'm not sure if it's been done before, but yes, I think they'll blend to their surroundings. Be sure to bake any wood to remove any pests, or you can do a 10% bleach soak, then follow-up with a dechlorinating rinse with extra dechlorinator.

Freezing doesn't necessarily work 100%. Some bacteria and pathogens will go dormant upon freezing, only to resurrect when thawed. But nothing survives heat.
