Pixie frog biting its own tongue plz help!!!

My pixie frog has a lot of trouble catching prey items, and most of the time ends up biting its own tongue. Whats wrong with him?

How old is he? Does he bite his tongue when you feed him with forceps? Post a pic and maybe we can see something wrong.

well after I posted this thread, i fed him and he wasn't doing it anymore. The feeding before i had dusted his food with calcium, so I think that helped. But if he does it again, ill post a new thread
