Hi there. I am new here. My daughter brought home some tadpoles from the river the other day to raise (she has wanted to do this for a while). We set up an aquarium for them and they have done quite well and have grown into tiny frogs. She has done a lot of research, but feels that she needs to know what type of frog they are so she will know what type of habitat to set up for them. She said that some frogs live in the water and some leave the water and never return except to lay eggs. So she is worried about getting the habitat perfect for them.
Anyway, we got these tadpoles from the Trinity River in north central Texas.
If anyone could tell us what the best type of habitat would be for them, that would be great. And also what we need to feed them now that they are frogs.
Thanks a bunch!!
